For you Harry Potter fans
Fortunately the only places that have the midnight sell parties are U.K. and U.S. This had become a bone of contention for some of the kids. Thanks to the Internet, my son looked this up and found that actually there were no midnight parties in France so the fact that I would not let them go to one was actually a moot point! Phew...

So far, it sounds like luck is on your side! Perhaps the french are more wise than we crazy Anglos when it comes to midnight consumer activities.
Mega-major WOWS! The postings have been just perfect. Getting one before they even left O'Hare was a wonderful surprise and the daily updates have been better than that new book everyone is reading this morning! And the photos have been fantabulous! We have been forwarding every blog entry and every photo to all the grandparents and aunts. We have also been wishing we were 16 and taking French at Centennial so we could be getting these great experiences too! Kind of reminds me of John Denver's song Leaving On A Jet Plane: All my bags are packed; I'm ready to go! Thank you so much, Linda, for making this dream come true for the kids. Their smiles in each photo are even better than the amazing scenes. We're looking forward to seeing the hundreds of photos the kids took too, and to finding out more about the tour guide (does anyone have a crush on him?) and the other two groups traveling with you. Thank you sooooo much for everything. On y va is a perfect name for the enthusiasm you have brought to this travel adventure.
